Sanctum Cay Mission in New Update
So, has anybody found a way to save the vizier in the new March 9 update?
Is this a bug, or is it supposed to be like that?
I paid a runner to get me through, he couldn't, then we tried to make a team and fight. I was a healer monk, but I couldn't heal him fast enough.

They've patched it...there are two White Mantle waiting for you by the time that you get to the dock (unlike before). Either that, or they accidentally broke it.

So do you mean theyve fixed the bug where no mantle came what so ever except those 2 that were already there(unless you went onto the wooden bridge) or its now imposible to complete?

I tried the mission 3 times in a row, on the last attempt we even ran past the last mob spawn so that we get to the dock ASAP ... but to no available 20 + mobs were already there. We had 2 heal Monks and myself on an E/Mo trying to keep the Vizier alive ... needless to say he died before any of us could cast a second spell.

No, no. I couldn't even trigger that bug where you activate the Vizier and tank the two White Mantle enemies from the cliff.
The picture that I posted above? That happened without triggering the Vizier event at the dock. They all rushed out of nowhere onto the dock.

It sounds almost like they were trying to nerf the Sanctum Cay runners. I've done it before with a Guildie. I ran her to the dock and if you don't get too close, Vizier would summon the boat and you wouldn't have to fight at all (once there). Maybe they nerfed it with a little overkill?

Just counted the mobs in the pic & I think 31 White Mantle is slightly more than overkill.
Still hopefully gets fixed b4 I get there (I'm in Aurora Glade)

Prolly making it harder so you can't pay your way out of actually playing the game. If you couldn't heal him as a monk, maybe you're a bad monk :P j/k. anyway whether it's messed up or not, preventing mission runners is probably the reason for it.

If what is said is true Sanctum cay Mission is uncompleteable as in under a second the vizer would be dead. So I hope no one has any plans for going to the desert to Ascend till they fix it.

i counted 31 various types of white mantle there including melee and casters.
if/when the visier pops in he will be dead in seconds even if you manage to get near him.
while you try to heal the visier the rest of you die.
6 (or even 8 from TOA) against 31 dont have a chance in the time allowed.
or maybe you are meant to pull one mantle group out at a time until it is managable?
and then the visier pops in?

I might not be the best monk, but if you read the thread you will see that other have tried it with even two monks.
While I like the idea that you should play the game, I must say they overdone it, and I expect and hope for a fix soon so my Monk can get on with the game.

Well let's see, that was yesterday, and this is today. Did anything happen between those two timeframes that could have had an effect? Oh yes, a HUGE update.
He may very well be standing in the wrong spot, but unless you said "I just ran this today after the update", then you aren't on the same page as the rest of the thread

Thats an old bug, when you try to do bonus+mission that happens. Just do mission first and then come back for bonus.

I did mission and bonus together a few weeks ago and this didn't happen. Was able to complete it successfully on 5 of my characters doing mission and bonus together.
